Controller Consultant for Kessler Consulting

Job Description:

Work as an independent contractor on a team with a CFO Consultant or as an interim resource assisting on special projects.
Provide part-time CFO, or interim CFO services, to businesses in the Milwaukee, Jefferson, Waukesha, Walworth, Ozaukee, Racine and Kenosha county area.
Work both with entrepreneurs and private equity owned businesses.
Work on multiple assignments simultaneously and provide financial management/accounting services to your clients.

Varied experience, including with small businesses
Public accounting (audit senior or audit manager) or prior consulting experience a plus.
Experience in one of the following industries preferred: Metal fabrication and or machining, Construction, Food Processing, or Distribution. Experience with job shops a plus. Experience with contract manufacturers a plus.
Familiarity with job shop software like Job Boss or E2 a plus.
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma a plus.

Founded in 2001, we work with entrepreneurs and with private equity owners. We have an emphasis in manufacturing, specifically in metal fabrication/machining, food processing, construction and distribution. Our people assist in planning cash flow, measuring progress, planning, financial reporting, procuring capital, working with banks, financing equipment, creating excellent processes, providing business advice, etc. We “get into the details,” but we also give our clients the tools to see the big picture and navigate to success.
